Each time that I've been to southern California, La Jolla is always one of my favorite places

Each time that I’ve been to Southern California, La Jolla is always one of my favorite places. There’s just something incredible about that area - it’s SO beautiful! The water is the most amazing blue; sea lions lie in the sun, and listening to the waves crash against the cliffs and rocks is so calming.

Since we love this area so much, we spent a couple of days walking around the area and taking in the views. One of the things I love about this area is that the water is well below street level, so you have a fantastic view of the beach and the ocean from up above. There is a nice walking path along the top of the cliffs, too, so you can take a stroll and enjoy the amazing ocean breeze.

And of course, you can walk down to the beach and enjoy some time in the sand. The La Jolla cove is a popular spot for people to hang out on the beach and in the water - that’s also where you’ll find the sea lions, too, so you know it’s a good spot.

If you visit San Diego, you MUST add La Jolla to your list of places to visit. You won’t regret it once you see the breathtaking views.
